Company History

Compass Marketing has a unique history that is predicated from the experience of its three founding partners. Although the company officially opened its doors on April 1, 2005, the marquee Compass products had been in development for many years through the previous endeavors of the Compass team. The combined 60 years of industry experience of this partnership brings a perspective and product-line that has yet to be achieved by the competition.

The Compass compilation team has been compiling source data since the 1990s. During the years prior to the company’s inception, the Compass Partners learned that the key to accurate and current compilation is to combine unique sourcing with the continuous verification of core elements.
The experiences, lessons and refinements of the Compass team combined with their years of experience with online and offline product development, data acquisition, list brokerage and list management provide Compass with a broad perspective of information gathering intended for a wide range of solutions beyond traditional direct marketing applications.

Compass Marketing has created a business-to-business database of 16 million records, with phone, contact names, employee size, sales volume, 6 digit SIC codes, and more. Compass also offers Small Office/Home Office, Pre- Movers, New Movers, Internet Connected Consumers, Consumer Emails, Consumer Households, New Phone Connects, Canadian Businesses and Canadian Consumers.  Compass Marketing also has a state of the art Data Processing facility that offers merge/purge, address and telephone appends, address standardization, customer suppression, Cass Certification, Key coding and NCOA Link.

The Compass Team is dedicated to compiling data content that is both unique and price competitive with a quality that you would expect from one of the leading sources in the market place.
